What are the call screening behaviors?

Call screening behaviors explained

For each category, choose a screening behavior from the drop-down menu. The options are: Allow, Allow with Priority Ring, Block, Block with Message, Forward, or Voicemail.

Description

Allow

Allow the caller to ring through.

Allow with Priority Ring

Give the caller a different ringtone from other callers. The specific ringtone can be selected from a drop-down menu when this option is selected.

Priority ring is available on request and does not work on all devices.

Block

Block the caller from ringing through.

Block with Message

Block the call with a message:

– Custom Callers: "The number you have dialed is not accepting calls at this time."

– Toll-Free Callers: "The number you have dialed is not accepting calls from toll-free numbers at this time."

– Anonymous Callers: "The number you have dialed is not accepting calls from anonymous numbers."

Forward

Forward the caller to the number specified in the Screening Forward Number field.

Voicemail

Send the caller directly to voicemail.
